Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough checks on contractors' identification and ensure they have received necessary security briefings
  • Escort contractors through the prison to their designated work areas, maintaining a high level of vigilance at all times
  • Oversee contractors' work, ensuring they adhere to security protocols and procedures
  • Verify that contractors' tools and equipment are accounted for before leaving the work area
  • Communicate effectively with the security team and other stakeholders via radio
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to pass security vetting, including providing references and undergoing security police checks
  • 3+ years of residency in the UK
