Exciting Opportunity - Capital Projects Manager for Estates

We are seeking a proficient Capital Projects Manager for Estates to oversee significant construction initiatives at Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service (NFRS). In this pivotal role, you will ensure the successful execution of major capital projects while adhering to legal regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the effective implementation of the Estates Capital Works Programme.
  • Oversee all phases of project execution from initial concept through to final handover.
  • Develop business cases and provide updates on governance matters.
  • Administer budgets and financial data for project reporting purposes.
  • Engage with stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to facilitate successful project outcomes.
  • Analyze projects for patterns and identify opportunities for enhancement.

Experience/Qualification

  • Possess qualifications and experience in building surveying or construction project management.
  • Demonstrate expertise in risk management, health and safety, and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
