About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Warehouse Operatives and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives to achieve high levels of productivity and quality
  • Monitor and control throughputs, parcel presentation, and productivity levels to meet forecasted CPU targets
  • Support the Process Manager in maintaining quality standards and performance metrics
  • Manage and control Client SLAs, load presentation compliance, and infeed targets
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation to meet required standards and timescales
  • Lead by example in creating a high-performance culture within the Sortation area
Requirements
  • PC literate with experience of Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in logistics or distribution, with a proven track record of managing a team
  • Ability to work at pace to challenging targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
