The University of Manchester is seeking a highly skilled Faculty Alumni Officer to join our dynamic and innovative team in the Division of Development and Alumni Relations.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing bespoke alumni volunteering programmes that support the strategic goals of the University.
You will work closely with colleagues across the University to develop and deliver Faculty-wide alumni programmes that enhance student recruitment, employability, and social responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement alumni volunteering programmes that align with the University's strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver Faculty-wide alumni initiatives that support student recruitment and employability.
- Ensure alumni are engaged and informed about volunteering opportunities, campaign updates, and Faculty news.
- Work closely with the Development and Alumni Relations team to identify and pursue fundraising opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with alumni, stakeholders, and internal partners to promote the University's mission and goals.
Requirements:
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in successfully delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and an understanding of data trends.
- Tact, discretion, and sensitivity in handling confidential information.
- The ability to work collaboratively, whilst also leading on projects independently.
