**ABOUT US**

Ed for all is an Alternative Provision that specializes in re-engaging students aged 6-16 who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) or at risk of permanent exclusion. We work on a one-to-one basis, tailoring our approach to their interests and building positive relationships before assisting them in overcoming the barriers affecting their education in a safe environment. Our company is two years old and has experienced remarkable growth, going strength to strength. We now have a team of 20 full-time staff and currently support over 75 young people in the Northwest.

This is where we need someone like **you** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled engagement officer to join our team

**What does the role involve?**

**Job responsibilities**:

- Work closely with children who have unique learning and behavioral needs.
- Offer guidance, support, and mentorship to the children.
- Collaborate with schools, local authorities, and families.
- Develop effective strategies to promote the well-being of each child.
- Implement strategies to support the academic progress of each child.

**Skills and Experience**:
Our mentors come from a variety of backgrounds, so there’s no single type of engagement officer. We seek individuals with emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to maintain composure in demanding situations. Building rapid rapport and defusing potential conflicts are vital skills and having self-motivation, genuine enthusiasm for the job, and adeptness in report writing are essential. Lastly, we also look for individuals with prior experience dealing with challenging behaviors within children and adults.

**Requirements**:

- Full UK driving License
- Proven experience in mentoring, teaching or working with children, particularly those with behavioral challenges.

**What we offer**:
You will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes petrol expenses and a business card for daily expenditures. Additionally, you will become a valued member of a supportive, diverse, and amicable team environment, receiving guidance and assistance from your line manager.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
