Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software architectures for complex communications equipment, ensuring high-performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to design interfaces, including Ethernet, UART, SPI, and I2C, to ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop high-quality, modular, and reusable embedded C software for bare-metal or FreeRTOS environments, meeting industry standards.
  • Manage software requirements and ensure traceability using industry best practices, ensuring compliance and quality.
  • Participate in the full product lifecycle, from refining specifications to production, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, both locally and with international teams at the headquarters, to deliver high-performance, reliable software solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software development, with a strong background in electronic engineering and experience working closely with hardware design engineers.
  • Proficiency in Embedded C and experience with bare-metal / FreeRTOS, with hands-on experience with designing and debugging digital and analog hardware interfaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, with experience in high-reliability embedded software development.
  • UK working rights, with a strong understanding of industry best practices and standards.
