Logistics Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Reed. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods from point A to point B.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the movement of goods, deciding on packing methods, transportation modes, and optimal routes.
  • Negotiate with carriers to secure cargo space and handle payment arrangements.
  • Manage customs clearance procedures, ensuring accurate completion of all necessary paperwork.
  • Handle transport documents and insurance paperwork to comply with regulations and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor and communicate real-time shipment status to clients and relevant parties.
Requirements:
  • Liaise with logistics colleagues and Warehouse to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Provide accurate information to clients regarding their material and shipments.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
