Job Title: Day Shift Transport Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team at WR Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth coordination of road shipments from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate road shipments, including quotation, to ensure excellent customer service care throughout all aspects of the enquiry.
  2. Liaise with internal and external clients for all transport-related issues and bookings.
  3. Offer competitive pricing to clients and ensure jobs awarded are processed and followed through to completion.
  4. Billing clients as per working SOP's and completing Pre-Alerts / Advising Customs Clearance instructions.
  5. Liaise with the warehouse regarding incoming/outgoing freight and booking Ferry Spaces / Port base etc.
  6. Update customers on progress and ensure job files are processed and completed within the monthly/year-end schedules.
  7. Load planning for Norway / European Trailers.

Requirements:

  1. Experience as a Transport Coordinator for a UK Transport, Freight or logistics company.
  2. Right to work in the UK.
  3. Experience in Tachographs, WTD's and infringements.
  4. Experience in route planning.
