Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Porter Supervisor to join our team at Blue Arrow - Southampton. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen porters to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and implement menus, ensuring that they meet the needs of our clients and customers.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that they are adequate and well-organized.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a contract catering environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain high standards in the kitchen.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
