Kitchen Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Porter Supervisor to join our team at Blue Arrow - Southampton. As a key member of our contract catering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring seamless service delivery, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen porters to ensure efficient service delivery
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute menus, specials, and promotions
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
