About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team of experts. In this role, you will play a key part in developing revolutionary designs that push the boundaries of engineering excellence. Your contributions will lead to the advancement of our industry and set new standards for design innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the design of advanced mechanical systems.
  • Create cutting-edge designs that exceed client expectations, ensuring they meet rigorous industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate actively in design review sessions to ensure optimal results and share your expertise with colleagues.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and reports, clearly communicating design concepts and specifications.
  • Review and finalize design plans and materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.

Requirements for the Role

  • Proven experience in mechanical design and engineering within a relevant industry sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MathCAD, demonstrating your technical skills and software expertise.
  • A demonstrable track record of delivering innovative design solutions that meet complex challenges.
  • Experience working within regulated industries such as Defence, Pharmaceutical, or Energy, understanding the importance of compliance and adherence to strict guidelines.
  • Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards, ensuring your designs are safe, reliable, and compliant.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant work experience in design engineering, showcasing your practical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Eligibility for Chartered accreditation is highly desirable, demonstrating your commitment to professional development and excellence.
