About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Data Scientist to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and innovation through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize your data science expertise to identify opportunities to enhance plant efficiency and drive business improvement.
  • Extract, transform, load, analyze, and report complex manufacturing data from multiple sources to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain a range of visualization products to communicate insights, including manufacturing data dashboards.
  • Act as a liaison between our central innovation network, global data analytics & insights team, and various IT departments within Ford Motor Company.
  • Establish a digital/data science team within the plant and deploy data analytical training and skills development within other departments.
Requirements
  • Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is required or equivalent experience relevant to the field in an engineering/automotive environment.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills and providing data support to manufacturing investigations.
  • Demonstrable competence in automating data pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of Big Data Analytics tools with experience of interfacing to Cloud-based databases and data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrable skills in writing SQL to query databases and experience in Python programming.
  • Understanding of capabilities of current and future data analytical technologies.
  • High degree of self-initiative, drive, and flexibility.
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate, and work in a team.
  • Resilience is essential; candidates must be able to deal with difficult problems while maintaining a positive attitude.
Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 7:00-15:30 and Friday 7:00-12:30
