Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions and illnesses.
  • Conduct physical examinations, order diagnostic tests as needed, and develop treatment plans for patients.
  • Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes to promote healthy living.
  • Manage chronic conditions and coordinate care with specialists when necessary.
  • Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in medicine recognized by the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Have completed a two-year foundation course in general training.
  • Complete specialist training in general medical practice.
  • Complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
