Accounts Payable Assistant Job Description

A highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant is required to support our Accounting & Finance team within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices and reconcile billing statements accurately and efficiently.
  • Record financial transactions and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to stakeholders.
  • Support in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Coordinate with other accounting team members to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and a good understanding of accounting principles.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
