We value innovative thinkers who thrive in collaborative environments and are proactive in their approach.Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Geophysicist within our Remote Operations Centre (ROC), you will tackle intricate challenges where established solutions may be lacking by:
- Conducting advanced geophysical analyses throughout the processes of data acquisition, integration, processing, interpretation, and reporting to deliver precise and customized data outputs to clients.
- Offering geophysical expertise across various specialized technical areas.
- Creating tailored solutions for clients by contextualizing acquired geophysical data.
- Recommending enhancements to research methodologies and quality assurance systems.
- Providing technical contributions for proposals.
- Assisting in the development and organization of project protocols.
- Making informed recommendations, including additional investigations as necessary.
- Participating in data acquisition initiatives.
- Handling escalated tasks from junior team members.
In this role, you may lead or coordinate a small team and occasionally act in a managerial capacity, although direct people management is not the primary focus. A university degree along with extensive knowledge and experience in the field, organizational processes, and client relations is essential.
