Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain credit strategies across the customer lifecycle
  • Work closely with data engineers and product teams to automate credit decisioning
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure credit risk requirements are considered while building new propositions and introducing new channels/segments
  • Model customer profitability to optimize pricing strategies
  • Build and improve tracking of business performance to enable identification and monitoring of current and emerging risks
Requirements
  • Experience in a credit strategy setting and leading a key analytical function for volume credit products
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and programming languages such as R, SAS, or Python
  • Educated to a degree level or above in Statistics / Mathematics / Econometrics
  • Deep understanding of the full credit lifecycle combined with a high level of commercial awareness
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills and ability to think from first principles
  • Confident communicator with experience of delivering insight and strategy to technical and non-technical stakeholders
