Job Opportunity: Assistant Development Manager

We are excited to be working with a leading residential-led developer to find an experienced Assistant Development Manager to support their development team in the London and Northern Home Counties region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of planning and development, with experience in appraising potential development sites, managing pre-apps and planning applications, and undertaking due diligence and feasibility studies.

As an Assistant Development Manager, you will work closely with the development team to identify and evaluate development opportunities, and support the preparation of planning applications and other development-related documents.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the appraisal of potential development sites and the preparation of planning applications
  • Managing pre-apps and planning applications through the development process
  • Undertaking due diligence and feasibility studies to inform development decisions

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Development or Town Planning degree (ideally RTPI or RICS accredited) and experience in a consultancy, developer, or housing association.
