Learning Support Assistant | Barking & Dagenham

Are you a dedicated and passionate individual looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are currently seeking a talented Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a brilliant SEND provision in Dagenham.

The Role:
  • Work alongside experienced SEND professionals to provide individualized support to pupils with complex needs, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Implement specific Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and academic growth of our pupils.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Hold a psychology-related degree from a reputable institution (minimum 2:1).
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting learners with special educational needs and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Be able to work effectively in a dynamic and sometimes unpredictable environment.
  • Experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable, but not essential.
