About the Role

We are seeking an Apprentice Business Systems Analyst to join our IT Demand team at Jet2holidays. This is an exciting new role where you will work closely with the business to understand the lifecycle of an initial request and how it progresses through Demand to Delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the business to gather and document requirements using elicitation techniques.
  • Understand and document business processes, system dependencies, and integration.
  • Support the tendering process (RFI & RFP) to identify a suitable vendor and solution.
  • Consult throughout project lifecycles and post-implementation to ensure solution, design, business requirements, and IT strategy are satisfied.
  • Work with off-the-shelf 3rd party software solutions.
  • Focusing on the technology aspect of a solution and taking into consideration how it will integrate and impact our current infrastructure, security, and architecture.
Requirements
  • GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) at grade A-C (9-4)
  • Must have been resident in the UK for 3 years
  • You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • You'll have an analytical mind with good attention to detail.
  • You'll have problem-solving skills with the ability to use own judgement to find the best solutions.
  • Be a team player, working together with the team to support your own professional development and the success of projects
