About the Role

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to lead the coordination of Soft FM activities across the county's diverse portfolio. The successful candidate will provide support and leadership to managers delivering Front of House Facilities Management services.

The role involves working in partnership with other Delivery Leads to ensure services are regularly monitored and evaluated, meeting national and local priorities. The candidate will be responsible for a small team of Caretakers and Cleaners, managing external contracts supporting security and guardian-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering Front of House FM operations
  • Delivering multiple site customer-facing FM operations
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policy around Compliance, H&S, and the Environment

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, including building and maintaining relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Experience and understanding of managing significant resources and budgets
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality services
  • Experience of making change happen, responding to internal and external financial and organisational pressures
  • Experience of project management
