Job Summary

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Sandy Balls Holiday Village. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to a high standard, ensuring quality and presentation meet our expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Work effectively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest queries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist with food deliveries, storage, and rotation, ensuring ingredients are used within their shelf life.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for food and hospitality, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Resilience, energy, and a positive attitude, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
