Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Completions Officer to join our team. As a key member of our mortgage operations team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that all mortgage offer conditions are satisfied and funds are released on time.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Solicitors, Underwriters, and brokers to collect outstanding documents and ensure all legal documents and conditions from the mortgage offer are satisfied in a timely and professional manner.
- Assess and respond to post and phone calls, taking reasonable care not to put others at risk.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection requirements when dealing with personal data.
- Stay up-to-date with current market, financial, and regulatory requirements.
- Meet key performance indicators and service levels by working to agreed objectives and deliverables.
- Previous experience within financial services (desirable)
- Adaptable and flexible to enable the department to deliver exceptional customer service
- An awareness of key elements of mortgage applications through to completion
- An understanding of the regulatory landscape, DPA, Money Laundering, TCF, MCOB, Fraud aware
- PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft office products and outlook
- Flexible approach and “can do” attitude
