Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the range of matrix materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure margin performance by managing product pricing and continuously evaluating cost structures to meet financial targets.
- Collaborate across various business functions to facilitate product qualification and process changes, ensuring minimal impact on customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, working alongside the sales team to devise and execute strategies that maximize sales potential.
- Act as a technical expert during customer engagements and industry events, promoting our product offerings.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, advocating for suitable products or initiating development projects as needed.
- Support supply chain conflict resolution by evaluating potential solutions and prioritizing effectively.
- Serve as the marketing liaison within the facility, aligning global capacities, competitive positioning, and cross-site initiatives.
- Work with sales teams and clients to ensure accurate demand forecasting is reflected in our business systems.
- Provide market insights for relevant product lines, analyzing market segmentation, size, trends, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience with a focus on technical or sales & marketing.
- Familiarity with the aerospace sector, including qualifications, programs, and specifications.
- Understanding of composite materials, including manufacturing processes and product performance.
- Experience in managing external business relationships.
- Results-driven with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with a strong influence.
- Collaborative team player with cross-functional working capabilities.
- Commercially savvy with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a matrix organization.
- Effective communicator at the executive level with strong analytical and synthetic thinking skills.
