Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in St Neots. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our process equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns
  2. Electrical setup and production support
  3. Conduct thorough fault finding and repair of breakdowns
  4. Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to factory safety protocols
  5. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
  6. Assist in the fabrication and installation of plant and machinery under supervision
Requirements
  1. Recognized electrical apprenticeship or equivalent
  2. Experience in production equipment maintenance in a diverse factory environment
  3. Electrically biased role with good diagnostic skills
  4. Electrical/Mechanical maintenance experience
  5. Extrusion experience preferred
  6. Higher qualification or equivalent experience
  7. Computer literacy in stores systems and maintenance management systems
Working Hours

You will work a 4 on 6 off shift pattern, with 143 rostered 12-hour shifts per annum. This includes 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, and 6 days off. The company will provide at least 2 weeks' notice for any changes to the roster.
