As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will oversee the procurement process for a designated range of products. Your role will involve implementing sourcing strategies, serving as the liaison between vendors and the organization regarding specifications and financial parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and engaging with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Issuing and monitoring Purchase Orders (POs) while maintaining supplier relationships to ensure successful order fulfillment.
- Ensuring timely delivery of necessary Goods and Services and tracking their status.
- Identifying and addressing deficiencies in methods, procedures, and processes, while proposing enhancements.
- Conducting negotiations and renewals of contracts with suppliers.
- Building and maintaining supplier relationships to gain insights into the market, evaluate risks, and ensure adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Facilitating communication with team members and stakeholders regarding data collection and analysis.
- Resolving issues and managing scheduling adjustments.
- Reporting on supplier performance and any instances of non-compliance.
- Processing supplier invoices and addressing any necessary corrections.
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of purchased items and preparing comparative analyses to identify optimal value.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or procurement within the Oil & Gas sector, energy industry, or technology fields.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably with a technical focus.
- Proficiency in the English language; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Experience or training in contract and agreement documentation.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to foster trust with clients and suppliers.
- Experience with SAP or Oracle systems is required.
- Ability to lead procurement initiatives and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Capability to work autonomously and manage responsibilities effectively.
