Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide personalized support to a Year 5 student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Tourette's Syndrome. The successful candidate will work closely with the student, school staff, and professionals to create a supportive environment that enhances the student's educational experience and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to the student, ensuring their safety and emotional comfort.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies to promote the student's learning and development.
• Foster an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere, encouraging social skills and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with school staff and professionals to monitor progress and provide feedback.
• Adapt learning materials and activities to meet the student's unique needs and abilities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students with ASD, OCD, and Tourette's Syndrome.
• Understanding of strategies to support students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and external support teams.
• Relevant qualifications in education or special needs (desirable).
