About the Position:

  • Assist in managing and supporting student behavior within the classroom and on a one-on-one basis.
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to promote an engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Effectively address and de-escalate behavioral issues during lessons while adhering to safeguarding protocols.
  • Take initiative to support students and assist the teacher in creating a positive educational environment.
  • Be prepared to lead parts of lessons at short notice when required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and a proactive approach to educational support.
  • Maintains a consistent and fair attitude towards students both in and out of the classroom.
  • Exhibits a passion for educating young learners and building their confidence.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to form nurturing relationships with students.
  • Has relevant experience in similar roles and the legal right to work.
