About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director to lead our Commercial & Procurement team in Scotland. As a key member of our national commercial and procurement leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering work with existing and new clients, managing a growing team in Scotland, and collaborating with key strategic partners, clients, and colleagues across AtkinsRéalis globally.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead on the regional strategy for the discipline, working closely with the Commercial and Procurement Leadership team to help shape our strategy and future aspirations for Scotland and the UK.
- Direct the sub-sector teams on the implementation of the strategy, working with the operational business on delivery and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
- Lead on team engagement, care, and management, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages growth and development.
- Support the identification of target clients and the development of an engagement plan, working closely with the operational business to drive business growth.
- Drive innovation, constantly reviewing how to do things better and more efficiently, and lead the recruitment process to grow our business.
- Work closely with the operational business on direction and strategy, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Review and assess performance of our people, supporting the operational business in driving efficiency across the region.
Your Requirements
- Strong and proven infrastructure experience, notably for Defence, Water, Energy, Local Transport, Rail, or Highways projects.
- Proven track record in effective management of diverse teams, either at discipline level or on major/complex commissions or projects, for major clients, including maximising performance and confidently dealing with performance-related issues.
- An inspiring leader, known for your principles and commitment to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
- Excellent communicator, collaborator, and influencer, with regional credibility and a deep understanding of the industry.
- Embody safety, integrity, collaboration, and innovation, with a strong focus on delivering excellence.
