Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Asset Integrity Engineer to join our team at Sigma Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a key pipework inspection contract with external experts, planning and executing inspections, and ensuring accurate and high-quality record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract management: Manage a key pipework inspection contract with external experts, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Planning inspections: Arrange inspections as required, manage their execution, and maintain accurate and high-quality record-keeping.
  • Contributing to PPM and asset management: Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with quality and compliance systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure all inspection data is organized to support quality and compliance systems.
  • Report writing: Prepare and submit high-quality reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a HNC/HND, with significant pipework/asset integrity experience.
  • Expertise with pressure safety systems (PSSR) / ASME qualification, or asset integrity experience on a COMAH site.
  • Experience in managing external inspection contracts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of up to £70,000 (dependent on experience).
  • A relocation allowance of up to £24,000.

Working Hours

Flexible start and finish times of 7:30 am-9 am and 4:30 pm-6 pm.
