Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Asset Integrity Engineer to join our team at Sigma Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a key pipework inspection contract with external experts, planning and executing inspections, and ensuring accurate and high-quality record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Manage a key pipework inspection contract with external experts, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Planning and Execution: Plan and execute inspections as required, ensuring accurate and high-quality record-keeping.
  • Interpreting Reports: Interpret inspection reports and ensure compliance with quality and compliance systems.
  • Asset Management: Take responsibility for accurate updating of CMMS and IMS, ensuring seamless integration with our asset management systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure all inspection data is organized to support quality and compliance systems, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all external parties have the required documentation, RAMS, and Safe Systems of Work in place, maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a HNC/HND with significant pipework/asset integrity experience.
  • Expertise: Expertise with pressure safety systems (PSSR) / ASME qualification or asset integrity experience on a COMAH site.
  • Experience: Experience in managing external inspection contracts and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: A salary of up to £70,000 (dependent on experience).
  • Relocation Allowance: A relocation allowance of up to £24,000.
