Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as an Asset Integrity Specialist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing pipework inspection contracts, planning and executing inspections, and contributing to our Predictive Maintenance (PPM) and asset management programs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contract Management: Manage a key pipework inspection contract with external experts, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  2. Planning and Execution: Plan and arrange inspections as required, and manage their execution to ensure high-quality results.
  3. Asset Management: Contribute to our PPM and asset management programs, ensuring that all inspection data is organized and used to support quality and compliance systems.
  4. Compliance: Ensure that all inspection data is organized to support quality and compliance systems, and that all relevant regulations and standards are met.
  5. Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on inspection results, highlighting any areas of concern or opportunity for improvement.
Requirements
  1. Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a HNC/HND with significant pipework/asset integrity experience.
  2. Expertise: Expertise with pressure safety systems (PSSR) / ASME qualification, or asset integrity experience on a COMAH site.
  3. Contract Management: Experience in managing external inspection contracts, with a proven track record of successful contract management.
  4. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What We Offer
