We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Repair Technician Volunteer to join our team at Greener and Cleaner. As a Repair Technician Volunteer, you will play a vital role in our pilot project, which aims to reduce waste and increase the confidence of visitors by providing repair services at our new drop-in repair cafe.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in repairing general household items, electrical appliances, bicycles, furniture, and wooden items. You will be comfortable working in a customer-facing role and be able to problem-solve and repair items in a supportive and judgement-free environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide repair services at our new drop-in repair cafe
  • Repair general household items, electrical appliances, bicycles, furniture, and wooden items
  • Work in a customer-facing role and provide excellent customer service
  • Problem-solve and repair items in a supportive and judgement-free environment

Requirements

  • Experience in repairing general household items, electrical appliances, bicycles, furniture, and wooden items
  • Comfortable working in a customer-facing role
  • Ability to problem-solve and repair items in a supportive and judgement-free environment
  • Over 18 years old
