This position provides an excellent opportunity to engage in a variety of accounting responsibilities, receive study support, and work within a nurturing team atmosphere.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the processing of sales invoices from remote teams.
- Verify supplier invoices, ensuring costs are accurate and consistent with our systems.
- Address supplier statement inquiries effectively.
- Distribute copies of invoices and relevant documentation to clients.
- Establish new suppliers and customers in our system.
- Conduct credit control activities to guarantee prompt payments.
- Oversee the accounts inbox, directing inquiries as necessary.
- Perform bank reconciliations and allocate payments in GBP, USD, and EUR.
- Conduct some credit checks as required.
What We Are Looking For:
- Prior experience in a related position, such as Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, Accounts Administrator, Sales Ledger Clerk, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk, or Accounts Receivable Clerk.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a small team.
- A genuine desire to learn and develop within the role.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and basic Excel skills.
