We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team on a flexible bank basis. As an MRI Radiographer Flexi-Bank, you will be required to work on an "as and when required" basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff during periods of annual leave or absence.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake a wide variety of MRI scans using our GE Signa Voyager 1.5 Tesla scanner.
- Abide by departmental protocols and RCR guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
- Partake in administrative duties to enable the smooth running of the department.
- Assist with general radiography if required and ensure compliance with IRMER regulations.
- Deliver a high standard of individualised patient care, being sensitive to patients' needs for dignity and privacy.
- Ensure that the agreed standards of patient care and confidentiality are maintained in accordance with company policies.
- Promote clinical excellence at all times.
- Lead the implementation of departmental action plans as a result of clinical audit and review.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment and independently as required.
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills in the area of clinical practice.
- Experience of working in an imaging department with the opportunity to consolidate skills.
- Promote clinical excellence at all times.
- Be actively involved in development and implementation of clinical governance and risk management plans.
- Optimise patient outcomes with available resources whilst complying with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Where required, develop and implement action plans as a result of clinical audit and reviews.
- Proactively support the health, safety, and wellbeing of team members and treat employees fairly, equitably, and with respect.
- Ensure training needs are identified and training plans are in place to meet individual, professional, and organisational needs.
- Promote and encourage the professional development of all clinical staff.
