About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) service. As the Lead Clinician, you will be responsible for the delivery and management of the service, ensuring high-quality care and treatment for young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and management to a team of professionals, including nurses, therapists, and social workers.
  • Develop and implement service plans, ensuring effective working arrangements and partnership working with other agencies.
  • Monitor and evaluate service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, including safeguarding and mental health legislation.
  • Collaborate with other services and agencies to develop and implement new initiatives and services.
Requirements
  • Registered Professional qualification (e.g. RMN, OT, Social Worker, Psychologist)
  • Postgraduate diploma or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Significant experience in CAMHS or a related field, including leadership and management roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
