Salary: £24,590 - £28,477
Coleg Cambria's Foundation learning department at Deeside is seeking an experienced Instructor Demonstrator. Within our modern workspace equipped with industry-standard tools, you'll be responsible for delivering comprehensive practical sessions. Your duties include planning practical activities in collaboration with our course team, ensuring the skill development of our students, and managing key administrative tasks such as record-keeping and student evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality practical sessions to students
- Collaborate with the course team to develop and implement curriculum
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and guidance
- Manage administrative tasks, including record-keeping and student evaluations
- Contribute to the development of teaching and learning materials
Requirements:
- Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter
- Commercial and domestic experience in Construction
- Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments
- Awareness of the importance of quality standards within teaching
- Demonstrate a good level of IT competence
- Able to deal promptly and effectively with inappropriate behaviour in the classroom
- Able to confidently deliver high-quality, effective practical sessions which enhance learning for our students
Desirable Skills:
- Welsh language skills
