Job Summary

Exceeding Expectations in Plumbing Education

Coleg Cambria is seeking a skilled and passionate Instructor Demonstrator in Plumbing to join our team at the Deeside site. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering scheduled practical instruction and demonstrations to student groups, ensuring they develop essential skills and knowledge in plumbing.

You will work closely with course coordinators and lecturers to create a structured schedule of activities and support students in achieving their learning goals. Monitoring student progress, assessing their competence in practical tasks, and maintaining accurate records will be key responsibilities.

As part of our commitment to student success, you will assist with student reviews, help produce course results, and contribute to creating a caring and supportive learning environment. Maintaining professionalism, ensuring student discipline, and promoting attendance and punctuality are vital aspects of the role.

You will be a proactive team player, ready to take on any additional duties assigned by your Line Manager to contribute to the smooth operation of the department.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter
• Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments
• Recent industrial experience in the relevant specialist area

Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
