Job Summary

Coleg Cambria is seeking a skilled and passionate Instructor Demonstrator in Plumbing to join our team at the Deeside site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver scheduled practical instruction and demonstrations to student groups, ensuring they develop essential skills and knowledge in plumbing.
  • Work closely with course coordinators and lecturers to create a structured schedule of activities and support students in achieving their learning goals.
  • Monitor student progress, assess their competence in practical tasks, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with student reviews, help produce course results, and contribute to creating a caring and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain professionalism, ensure student discipline, and promote attendance and punctuality.
  • Participate in staff development activities and continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments.
  • Recent industrial experience in the relevant specialist area.
Language and Culture

Coleg Cambria is committed to raising the profile of the Welsh language. Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
