Job SummaryThe Global Employee Relations Specialist will play a critical role in managing and resolving complex employee relations issues across the organization. This position involves providing expert guidance to HR partners, managers, and leaders while ensuring alignment with company policies and applicable employment laws.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies for managing employee relations globally, aligned with the organization's business objectives.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to design programs that enhance workplace culture, engagement, and productivity.
- Lead investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disputes, ensuring thorough, timely, and impartial resolution.
- Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in compliance with company policies and local employment laws.
- Ensure company practices comply with international employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Monitor changes in global employment laws and regulations, advising local HR teams on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM-CP) is a plus but not essential.
- Experience in an Employee Relations, HR generalist, or a similar role, with a focus on global or multinational organizations.
- Proven track record of handling complex ER cases, investigations, and conflict resolution in diverse cultural settings.
- Strong knowledge of global employment laws, practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in using HR systems and case management tools.
- Data analysis skills to interpret ER trends and metrics.
- Experience working in a global matrix organization.
- Familiarity with change management principles and experience leading initiatives in a dynamic work environment.
- Full professional fluency in English (both spoken and written).
- Additional language skills, other than English, are an advantage.
