Job Summary

The Aurora Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Support Worker to join our team at Orchard Manor. As a Bank Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our young adults with severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young adults, promoting their confidence and independence.
  • Assist with daily activities such as washing, dressing, socializing, learning, and personal care.
  • Ensure medical needs are met at all times and assist with therapy sessions as required.
  • Communicate effectively with our young adults, building strong relationships to empower their growth and development.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for our residents.

Requirements

  • Experience in a care or support role is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
