Page Personnel Sales is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller to join their team in Guildford.

Job Description

As an Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, and managing accounts payable and receivable. You will also perform regular bank and account reconciliations, support the finance team in preparing budgets and financial reports, and ensure timely and accurate entry of financial data into accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and update accurate financial records and ledgers
* Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable
* Perform regular bank and account reconciliations
* Support the finance team in the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and audits
* Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial data into accounting systems
* Assist with administrative tasks and financial documentation
* Monitor and manage outstanding debts, liaise with clients to ensure timely payments, and implement credit policies

Requirements

* Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role
* Proficiency in accounting software preferred
* May be working towards an accountancy degree
