Job Title: Finance Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Finance Administrative Assistant to join our client in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial records, processing invoices, and providing day-to-day administrative support to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Process and track payments, and manage collections efficiently.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, financial reports, and statements.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including scheduling meetings, managing communications, and preparing documents.
  • Enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets with accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Handle customer and vendor inquiries, resolving any discrepancies in billing or payments.

Requirements:
  • AAT Level 2 qualification is essential.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS is required.
  • Previous experience in a finance or administrative role is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and accounting software, Xero, Sage 50, and Sage Payroll.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
