About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Group Management Accountant to join our team at AD Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of management accounts, including a group consolidated set, full balance sheet reconciliation, commentary, analysis, and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead an experienced finance team and be responsible for managing the end-to-end management accounting process, including commentary, reporting for stakeholders, data analysis, and identifying actionable insights.
- You will produce a group consolidated management accountants and a full board pack, assisting with the annual budgets and forecasts, and conducting quarterly reviews, including providing variance analysis and reporting for the board.
- Management of the month-end process, including journals and fully reconciled balance sheets, reviewing the month-end cycle, and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Responsible for cash flow forecasting and management, ensuring all ledgers are accurate and fully reconciled.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) with experience in a similar role, such as Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Senior Management Accountant, or Group Management Accountant.
- An excellent communicator with the confidence to communicate with board-level professionals and other non-financial members of the senior leadership team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- An excellent communicator with strong financial acumen, providing finance business partnering support to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLookUps, SumIFs, Pivot Tables, and more.
- Strong man management, mentoring, and people development skills.
