Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Assistant Manager to join our team at our state-of-the-art Warrington bodyshop. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing all aspects of the bodyshop, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Bodyshop Manager in planning resource allocation and equipment levels to meet budgetary requirements and financial targets.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent workflow within the bodyshop through effective capacity planning, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage daily production coordination, ensuring all targets and deadlines are met or addressed.
  • Regularly review site KPI performance to identify areas for improvement and ensure delivery of average repair cost targets, customer satisfaction scores, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vehicle repairs and customer interactions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
