We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Culinary Specialist to join our esteemed fire and rescue service team.
Position Overview
As a vital member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our firefighters receive nutritious and delicious meals. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the well-being of our team, who work tirelessly to protect and serve the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals tailored for the fire station crew, focusing on nutrition and taste.
- Collaborate with Mess Managers to design weekly menus that accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Manage kitchen inventory effectively, ensuring all food supplies are adequately stocked.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Keep accurate records of all kitchen purchases and supplies.
- Work closely with the Station Commander and crew members to address any culinary needs or preferences.
- Assist with food preparation for special events or gatherings as required.
