Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Early Years Bank Staff Member to join our team at one of our nurseries in Cambridge. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, choosing when you want to work and how many hours you want to commit to.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in play and activities that promote their development and learning.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene and room preparation.
  • Promote and ensure the welfare, protection, health, and safety of children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the nursery.
