The Court of Protection plays a vital role in making decisions for individuals who lack the mental capacity to do so themselves. Key Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the Department Director

  • Assist with various Court of Protection matters, including personal injury trusts, statutory wills, and deputyship applications

Essential Skills:
  • Passion and experience in publicly funded Court of Protection work
  • Strong academic credentials, including a Law degree
  • Previous legal experience as a Court of Protection Paralegal or Advisor
  • Clear understanding of Court of Protection procedures
  • Business acumen with the ability to promote the firm
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with diverse individuals
  • Strong written communication and drafting abilities
  • Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance
