Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to join our client's team in Surrey. As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of inventory, addressing discrepancies, and managing supplier returns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track inventory levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize stock management.
  • Liaise with the production team to ensure timely delivery of materials and address any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes to ensure compliance with internal audits and identify any discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve inventory management, including the creation of kits of parts for production and the collection of empty stillages.
  • Monitor the shelf life of stock and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management systems and software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues.
