Clinical Nurse Specialist - Children's COaST

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Children's COaST service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children with complex health needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with paediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to children with chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child and their family.
  • Provide education and support to families, promoting self-management and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Child (Child branch or RSCN) qualification.
  • Significant experience in paediatric nursing, preferably in a community setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of child development, health promotion, and disease prevention.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
