Clinical Sister

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Sister / Charge Nurse to join our Neonatal ICU team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading and managing a team of nurses, and contributing to the development of our neonatal services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and management to a team of nurses, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the effective management of the ward/department.
- Deputise for the Senior Sister / Senior Charge Nurse, assisting with the establishment of an efficient working environment and making effective use of staff, supplies, and services.
- Coordinate the day-to-day management of the clinical area, delegating duties and care appropriately while maintaining overall responsibility.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications, knowledge, and experience:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RSCN/Child Branch) on the NMC register.
- BSc/1st degree (health-related) or equivalent qualification/training/experience.
- Specialist Neonatal Qualification.
- Mentorship/teaching qualification.
We also require candidates with knowledge in neonatal intensive care cases and interventions, family integrated care, and BFI. Substantial experience in neonatal intensive care nursing is essential, as is the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate specialist care delivered to patients/clients.
